For one of our client based in the centre of Brussels, Insurance broker company, we are currently looking for an Underwriting Support.
- Client liaison and internal departments liaison
- Preparation of Slips/Cover Notes/Addendum and Endorsements
- Assisting brokers whenever required, including preparation of Statistics and Wordings
Person specification /key competencies, skills, characteristics/:
- Experience of processing documents and managing files at an advanced level
- Languages: fluent Dutch, good English and French
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Positive, proactive attitude
- Very good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work both well in a team and independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt
- Experience of working in a professional environment
- Academic background (preferably in economics, finance or law)
- Experience, exposure or understanding of insurance market
The role would be suitable for an administrative support person with good language skills who is interested in the world of insurance and keen to get involved in the administration of policies and potentially to grow into a broker. Having a first experience as an insurance broker will be an asset!
